Stay Physically Active

Pro-tip: stay active, even if it’s for just a couple of minutes every day. It’s recommended that you get at least 2.5–3 hours of exercise in a week to keep improve your blood flow.   

Quit Smoking

Plenty of researches and studies have highlighted the link between smoking and having blood clots. Both deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism are associated with smoking, which can cause abnormal blood coagulation.

Do Leg Exercises

Since sitting still for too long doubles the risk of blood clots, leg exercises are particularly useful.
